Who Should Attend CMMC Training Courses?
CMMC training courses are designed for professionals and organizations who want to stay compliant with the CMMC framework. The extensive training simplifies the preparation for Level 1 and Level 2 of the CMMC assessment.
Our two certifications are tailored for different audiences:
- Certified CMMC Professional (CCP): This path is for employees of DoD contractors, regulatory compliance officers, cybersecurity managers, consultants specializing in CMMC guidance, individuals pursuing the CCP role, and professionals taking the CCA.
- Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA): This path is for employees of DoD contractors, cybersecurity managers, regulatory compliance officers, legal team members, consultants, and individuals planning to become certified CMMC instructors.
CMMC CCP vs. CMMC CCA: What Is the Difference Between the Two?
If you want to be knowledgeable about CMMC standards and stay in compliance with the cybersecurity standards set by the DoD, pursue the CMMC path. There are two certification programs that highlight the level of your expertise with the CMMC framework:
- Certified CMMC Professional (CCP): The CCP path allows you to navigate the CMMC framework professionally. Your knowledge of the security requirements enables you to implement CMMC requirements for daily operations.
- Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA): The CCA path showcases your expertise in the CMMC assessment process ecosystem and enables you to work with a Certified Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO) to conduct assessments. The accreditation means that you are adept at evaluating the cybersecurity compliance of organizations with DoD contracts.

Are There Prerequisites for CMMC Training?

- CCP prerequisites: Applicants need to have a strong foundation in cybersecurity. They are also expected to have technical college and professional IT work experience.
