CMMI Training: Foundations and Building Excellence Courses

Do you speak “CMMI”?  We do, and we are eager to share!

BTI teaches ISACA’s (formerly the CMMI Institute) official two-day “CMMI 3.0 Foundations of Capability” and single-day “Building Development Excellence” and “Building Service Excellence” classes.  The courses are offered both online and in-person classroom training.

The courses teach the core concepts of the CMMI version 3.0, including the CMMI’s vocabulary, practice areas, and a deep-dive into CMMI implementation details.  We also supplement the course with additional material on the CMMI appraisal process and preparing for an appraisal.  Completion of this course enables students to participate in a CMMI appraisal and further CMMI training courses.

Pricing and Course Materials

BTI supplies all instructional slides, books, student materials, and exercises for the course, including:

  • Additional BTI-developed materials covering the CMMI appraisal process and preparing for a CMMI appraisal
  • Additional BTI-developed materials on applying CMMI in DevOps and Agile environments
  • Licensed access to the CMMI 3.0 model through ISACA’s model viewer tool
  • Student course materials and exercises for each student
  • A course completion certificate for each student
  • Breakfast and lunch on all days (BTI-hosted classroom offerings only)
