Catherine Collins is a software engineer by training and a systems engineering consultant by choice. As the BTI Chief Operating Officer and CMMI Business Point of Contact, she believes that building things is fun, but helping others to build things better is even more fun! Catherine has been providing engineering and consulting services to the Intelligence Community since 1998. In her current role, she provides systems and business consulting to projects, programs, and organizations for a Federal agency to improve product quality and improve process efficiency and effectiveness. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Virginia Tech. Ms. Collins is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), DevOps Institute Certified Agile Process Owner (CAPO) instructor, a DevOps-Institute Certified Agile Service Manager (CASM) instructor, and a INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP). She is certified at the Intermediate professional level for CMMI.
