Organizations may engage BTI with as many or as few services areas as desired. Upon request, BTI will provide recommended activities, services, and order of events, based on your particular circumstances and objectives.

BTI will conduct an on-site review of the organizations quality system infrastructure, practices, and performance, resulting in a formal deliverable of results and recommendations to management. The scope and duration of assessments vary with each organization such as company size and location(s), desired scope and organizational objectives. Assessment results may be used to plan follow-on process and quality improvement initiatives. Organizations, have the option to have a gap analysis against a specific quality model, such as CMMI® or ISO 9001.

BTI will provide recommended process and quality improvement methods, activities, methodologies, models, and/or standards based on the organization’s current and to-be quality objectives. Absent, sufficient information on which to base recommendations, BTI may request the organization to undergo a quality assessment to gather required information.

Organizations responsible for delivering products may benefit by implementing more agile methods for design, development, production, and delivery. BTI’s expertise in implementing Lean Enterprise practices can produce tangible benefits to the organization’s bottom line and customer satisfaction.

BTI will assist the organization to identify key processes, document those processes, assess process capability, and optimize process efficiency and effectiveness using our vast array of improvement tools and methods. This activity is typically required prior to implementing Six Sigma, Lean, or ISO 9001 improvement initiatives.

Organizations often struggle with how to determine the extent to which a particular process or improvement initiative is working. Quality models such as CMMI and ISO 9001 require organization’s to quantitatively assess process effectiveness and show continual improvements, therefore, a robust measurement system becomes a necessity. BTI can assist your organization to identify meaningful (i.e., value-added) metrics consistent with business and quality goals, and collect, analyze and report measurement data for organization improvement. BTI can further assist with periodic monitoring and reporting of the measurement system and measures to ensure continued compliance to quality system requirements.

CMMI and ISO 9001 require an ongoing program of process-based auditing to gage compliance to externally-based and internally-based requirements. BTI can assist your organization with conducting audits, establishing an audit program, and training internal auditor staff as needed.
