Mr. Moore is a Software Engineering Institute-authorized CMMI Lead Appraiser, Certified High Maturity Lead Appraiser, and CMMI instructor. He is also an American Society of Quality-certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Quality Assurance Institute-certified Software Quality Analyst and Software Test Engineer. Mr. Moore has more than 18 years experience as a systems and software engineer, program manager, and organization process manager.
Mr. Moore works part-time for the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) as a Visiting Scientist. Mr. Moore is a member of the SEI’s “Observing Lead Appraiser” team.
Mr. Moore was previously employed by Science Applications International Corporation as an Assistant-Vice President for Quality Assurance. In this role, Mr. Moore was responsible for quality assurance and process improvement for a 1200-person, $200 million annual revenue organization that performed work for the US intelligence community and NASA.
Mr. Moore has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master of Science of Engineering (Mathematical Sciences) from The Johns Hopkins University.
Ms. O’Grady is a Software Engineering Institute-authorized CMMI Lead Appraiser with more than 20 years of management and engineering experience. Ms. O’Grady provides consulting, coaching and training to organizations needing to improve their processes.
Ms. O’Grady previously worked at Science Application International Corporation (SAIC) where she managed a process team on a large multi contractor (over 30 companies) contract within the intelligence community as well as helped internal organizations attain their process improvement goals.
Ms. O’Grady has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master of Science of Systems Management from the University of Denver.
Mr. Clarence Lewis originates from Washington, DC. He received his undergraduate degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland – Baltimore County, and his graduate degree in Information Science from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. With 15 years of technical work experience has afforded him a wealth of knowledge in several areas of information technology, including Business Process Management (BPM), web and application development, project management, and team supervision. As the BPM Project Manager at SAIC, Mr. Lewis was responsible for creating the foundation for their BPM effort. In addition, Mr. Lewis was responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of all BPM applications within the business unit. As the Information Services Division Manager at Duke University's Talent Identification Program, I developed effective project management and supervision skills.
Outside of BTI, Mr. Lewis is an adjunct professor at the UMBC and serves on the board for IAESTE United States (an organization specializing in international technical training opportunities for college students). He currently resides in Burtonsville, Maryland with his wife of 10 years, and his two children. His mantra is “the best investment you can make is in your own future.”
