Description from catalog: BTI will provide a Software Engineering Institute (SEI)-authorized instructor to teach a four-hour overview course on the CMMI. This overview will cover the CMMI for executives, managers, and other personnel who may work in a CMMI-compliant environment but are not themselves responsible for process planning, design, or improvement. The course covers the structure of the CMMI, the Continuous and Staged Representations, CMMI process areas and process area categories, overview of specific and generic practices, the motivation for the CMMI, and the SCAMPI appraisal process. Each overview course will be taught for up to 30 students. The customer will supply a training facility appropriate for the number of students enrolled in the course, a white board or flipchart for use during the class, and a projector suitable for connection to a BTI-supplied laptop computer. BTI will supply all instructional slides and student materials including:
- A CMMI wall chart covering all CMMI version 1.2 process areas for each student;
- Student course materials for each student; and,
- A course completion certificate for each student.
